Payment options

Paypal is our main, but not the only, option for accepting online payments because they have been around for many years and can support multiple currencies.  We understand that some people choose not to use their credit cards for any online transactions or prefer not to use Paypal at all.

We have provided an alternative way to order online without using Paypal.  This option also lets you charge your credit card in a greater range of currencies  (US, Australian, Canadian, Swiss, Danish, Euro, British, Hong Kong, Japanese, Norwegian, New Zealand or Swedish currencies) which lets you avoid any 'foreign' charges by your credit card provider.

There's also an offline payment option which, while not optimal for purchasers, is available.

How to pay online without using Paypal:

• When buying from our online store, select the product and checkout as usual.
• When you are asked to choose an payment option :
  • Secure Credit Card
• You'll be taken to 2Checkout.com to complete the payment process. 
  • Your credit card can be charged in US, Australian, Canadian, Swiss, Danish, Euro, British, Hong Kong, Japanese, Norwegian, New Zealand or Swedish currencies saving you any 'foreign' charges on your credit card. 
  • When you get to the payment gateway there are options to switch to the currency you want - click on the 'flag' icons at the top of the payment page.
• After payment is completed you'll be returned to our online store.  Payment confirmation is sent from 2Checkout.com and we'll email an order confirmation and download instructions as soon as we receive your payment.  Normally all this happens within a few minutes.

Offline Payment:

If you wish, you can choose to place your order online but make the payment offline - by phone or fax.

• When buying from our online store, select the product and checkout as usual.
• When you are asked to choose an payment option :
  • Offline Credit Card payment  or
  • Fax / Phone credit card details.
• Then enter the online forms shown.
  • For the 'Offline' complete the details when asked - we will get those details and process your payment manually or 'offline'.
  • For the 'Fax' option you print out the form we provide and fax to one of the US or Australian fax numbers provided.
  • For the 'Phone' option you can call the US or Australian voicemail numbers to provide your credit card details.

With this option please note:

• The order may take a few days to process - the team is not in the office everyday to handle offline orders.
• The credit card charge is only in Australian dollars and will be converted to your credit card currency with exchange rate and fees that may be charged by your credit card provider.  Therefore the exact amount charged to your account can't be known in advance.
• The credit card charge will be on my statement in the name of
  My Computer Company, Erskineville, Australia.
  (this is our Editor-in-Chief's company who has had credit card merchant facilities since 1989).
• The amount charged by us will be in Australian dollars for the products you have ordered and Australian GST where applicable.  This is regardless of the currency option you chose during purchase.
